Persona Exercise

From the brief research about Film in the Fog event, I guess the target audience is very broad because most featuring film are all-ages and free live music concert is a part of the event. Therefore, I set three types of target audience, a kid, a senior couple, and sci-fi movie goer.

Jonathan
The 10 years old kid from east bay

Jonathan is 4th grade in elementary school. He was outgoing and loved to play basketball with his friends. He also loved to watch movies and would go to theater twice a months. But since his family moved in Berkeley last November from Ohio, he become shy and doesn't have many friends to hang out. After mom got a job here and he feels more lonely in these days. He used to be very bright and friendly but now he starts to complain everything around him, especially to his parents. Always stick to a tube and don't participate in family conversation. His parent are very concerned about their son and want to find a chance to change what he used to be.

Clara and Jackson
The almost sixty something years old married couple

Clara and Jackson are married couple and expect their 30th wedding anniversary. They have lived in south San Francisco since they got married in 1978. Clara is a elementary school teacher and Jackson works in SF public library, but they're going to retire from their job the end of this year. They both are worried about what they're doing in their plenty of free time after their retirement. Clara is sort of active person, but Jackson is too quiet and don't have special hobby. She always think Jackson is too boring to do something together, but sometimes she wants to play golf and watch a musical together.

Crystal
The Sci-fi goer girl

Crystal is 20 years old girl, working in Italian restaurant in downtown. She quit school and want to cook. It's her second year to work chef assistant.
Her parent lives in same area, but she doesn't want to live with them. Since she fought with them for quit school, they never talk to each other.
She is very independent and lively. Except working in the restaurant, she is always with her friends, Joy and Daniel. They enjoy watching TV with take-out dishes from her restaurant. She loves Sci-fi movie so much. Under her strict parents, this is the only outlet for relieving her stress because she can dream anything possible in sci-fi world. Sometimes, she imagine that spaghetti turn to a gross noodle monster and pump out their blood with tomato chunk while she is cooking. It's nothing to do with be a good cook, she think. She already name her restaurant for the future, Freaky Pasta.
